Cardiff Autumn Fungi and Wild Food Course

We have visited Bute Park in Cardiff before and found numerous plants and mushrooms. So we always like coming back.

We will meet at the Castle Street entrance to the park 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers. Tea of coffee is available from the cafe.

We’ll bring refreshments for the walk. Certainly some wild food soup and possibly even some home made Elderflower Champagne 🙂

After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the Park we will go through our finds and answer any questions.

After the walk we will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt a couple of days after the event.
