Cardiff Autumn Fungi and Wild Food Foraging Course

We have visited Bute Park in Cardiff before and found numerous plants and mushrooms. So we always like coming back.

We will meet at the Castle Street entrance to the park 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers. Tea or coffee is available from the cafe.

After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the Park we will go through our finds and answer any questions.

After the walk we will email all of you details of all the plants and mushrooms we find to help you remember what you have learnt a couple of days after the event.

We recommend you bring

• Warm protective clothing and footwear
• Camera
• Note pad/pen

Please note: drinks at the cafe are not included.

Under 12 year olds can come for free, within reason; but please let us know how many will be coming in advance.
