Cambridgeshire, Hinchingbrooke Country Park Spring Foraging Course

This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of edible Spring shoots, plants, flowers and hopefully mushrooms.

We will meet at the benches next to the car park at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.

After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the woods we will discuss and taste our finds over a tasty wild food lunch.

We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.

We recommend you bring;

• Warm protective clothing and footwear
• Camera
• Note pad/pen

Under 12 year olds can come for free, within reason. Please let us know how many will be coming in advance.
