Derbyshire, Peak District Autumn Foraging Course

COURSE LOCATION

This course is a simple foraging walk where we will identify a selection of edible and poisonous plants, fruits and mushrooms.
We will meet at The Miners Arms, Eyam at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes, where they relate to foragers.
We’ll then set off for a beautiful walk in the countryside around Eyam, taking in some fields, hedgerows and some woodland.
Then it’s back to the Miners Arms for a wild food lunch based on what we find.
We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.
