This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of edible and poisonous wild plants, fruits and mushrooms.

We will meet at the Brampton Mill at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.

After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the area we will discuss and taste our finds over a tasty wild food lunch.

We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.

We recommend you bring:

• Warm protective clothing and footwear
• Camera
• Note pad/pen

Under 12 year olds can come for free, within reason. Please let us know how many will be coming in advance.

Drinks from the pub are available, but not included.

Please note that 3:30pm is only an approximate finish time and depending on certain factors, the course could run until 4pm.
