We will be meeting in the courtyard at 12pm. Please do not drive into the courtyard, turn left into the car park as you go in and park in there. The post code does NOT get you here so do follow directions using google maps. Or if you use What three words flown.widely.yield. You will find brown tourist signs closer that are clearly signposted Drovers Rest. Their Lane is a no through road through the woods.

All our courses start with a talk on our foraging rules. We’ll then set off for roughly a 2.5 hour walk around the area, identifying the edible and poisonous species we find, and picking some for the meal later on. Along the way, we’ll stop for some pre-prepared wild food treats. At the end, we’ll create a meal based on what has been found. Then after the course, you will be emailed course notes to help you remember everything you have learnt.

We recommend you bring

  • Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and footwear
  • Camera
  • Note pad/pen
  • A drink

While masks are not mandatory, feel free to wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable. Please also bring your own cup for drinks during the walk, and plate and cutlery for the meal at the end of the course.

Under 12 year olds can come for free, within reason; but please let us know how many will be coming in advance.

3:30pm is only an approximate finish time and depending on certain factors, the course could run until 4pm.
