Cardiff Summer Foraging Course

We have visited Bute Park in Cardiff before and found numerous plants and mushrooms.

This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of Summer edible plants and flowers, and mushrooms.

We will meet at the Castle Street entrance to the park 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers. Tea of coffee is available from the cafe.

After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the Park we will go through our finds and answer any questions.

We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt a couple of days after the event.

Please arrive promptly. We will start the walk at 12:20.
