Horsell Common is just outside the M25 to the west and is a lovely natural area of greenbelt with plenty of plants and fungi to talk about.

The Course here will start from The Sands at Bleak House pub. The Sands is on the A320 a couple of miles from junction 11 on the M25 or a five minute taxi journey from Woking Train station.

The course  starts there with a 20 minute introduction onHedge Garlic 1 300 what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.

We will then set off for a slow walk around the Common taking in some woods, hedgerows and meadows. We’ll stop somewhere along the way for some nice home made wild food soup.

We’ll head back to the pub after roughly a 2.5 hour walk. When back at The Sands we’ll prepare and taste what we have found in the pub beer garden.
