Gwernyfed Walled Garden, Forage to Fork Supper

COURSE LOCATION


We will meet at the beautiful walled gardens at 5:30.
We’ll then set off for a 1 hour walk around the grounds, discussing the foraged edibles and the potentially poisonous lookalikes, some of which will end up on your plates later. Many of the delicious plants discussed would be considered common weeds in most flower beds and vegetable patches.
After the walk we’ll sit down for the 3 course meal with each course and its foraged ingredients being introduced by Marlow.
A glass of elderflower champagne or wild teas will be provided along with the meal.
For your day, we recommend you bring comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and footwear and a camera, note pad and pen
