This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of edible plants and flowers, plus hopefully some edible Spring mushrooms.
We will meet at The Miners Arms, Eyam at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.
We’ll then set off for a beautiful walk in the countryside around Eyam, taking in some fields, hedgerows and some woodland.
Then it’s back to the Miners Arms for a wild food lunch based on what we find.
We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.
We recommend you bring
Appropriate clothing
