Shropshire, Ludlow, Mortimer Forest Autumn Foraging Course

This course is a simple foraging walk where we will identify a selection of edible and poisonous wild mushrooms.

We will meet at 12pm in the Black Pool Car Park

The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.

After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the woods we will go back to the car park and picnic area to discuss and taste our finds.

We will email all of you details of all the mushrooms we find to help you remember what you have learnt.

Warm protective clothing and footwear
Camera
Note pad/pen

Under 12 year olds can come for free, within reason; but please let us know how many will be coming in advance.

There is limited parking for high top vehicles as the car park itself has height restrictions.

Please note that 3:30pm is only an approximate finish time and depending on certain factors, the course could run until 4pm.
