Staffordshire, Cannock Chase Autumn Foraging Course

This course is a simple foraging walk where we will identify a selection of plants, flowers, fruits and mushrooms.

We will meet at the Beaudesert Old Park car park at 12pm, this is the car park roughly halfway between Wandon crossroads and Beaudesert gold club. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.

After a 2-3 hour walk around the park we will end the day with a wild food lunch.

After the course we will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.

We recommend you bring

• Warm protective clothing and footwear
• Camera
• Note pad/pen
• A drink

Under 12 year olds can come for free, within reason; but please let us know how many will be coming in advance.

Please note that 3:30pm is only an approximate finish time and depending on certain factors, the course could run until 4pm.
