Swansea Spring Foraging Course
COURSE LOCATION
Our spring foraging course in Swansea will be approximately a three hour walk through Singleton Park.
This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of Spring shoots and edible plants and flowers, plus hopefully some edible spring mushrooms.
We will meet at the main entrance to Singleton Park at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.
After a 2 to 3 hour walk around the woods we will stop for a talk to discuss and taste our finds.
We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt.
We recommend you bring
- Warm protective clothing and footwear
- Camera
- Note pad/pen
