This course is a simple foraging walk where we hope to be able to identify a selection of edible and poisonous plants, fruits and wild mushrooms.
We will meet at the Bubbenhall Wood and Meadow car park at 12pm
Pagets Lane
Bubbenhall
Coventry
CV8 3BJ
Off the A445, take Paget’s Lane – this is a single track road so be aware of pedestrians and oncoming vehicles.
Follow Paget’s Lane and turn right at the fork past Hunter’s Moon Farm. There is a Warwickshire Wildlife Trust directional sign at this fork.
Approximately 200m along the lane on the right-hand side is the car park. Please park in here. Again, this has Warwickshire Wildlife Trust signage.
Take care not to overshoot the car park as the lane then becomes the access to a private property.
Please be aware, parking is not permitted anywhere along the lane. Only the designated car park may be used.
We will email all of you details of all the plants we find to help you remember what you have learnt a couple of days after the event.
Please arrive promptly. We will start the walk at roughly 12:20 after the talk is finished.
We recommend you bring
- Warm protective clothing and footwear
- Camera
- Note pad/pen
PLEASE NOTE: While we welcome dogs on all of our courses, at this venue they must be kept on a lead at all times.
